All About NDA | NA Examination

NDA/NA Exam is a entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year for admission in prestigious National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.NDA is located in khadakwasla in Pune,Maharastra.Cadets of three wings of armed forces Army,Navy and Air force are given training together.

Age Criteria:-15.5-18.5 years
Educational Criteria:-Army- 12th pass any stream
                                      Air force/Navy-12th(PCM) pass
                                                       [No % Bar]
Fee:- RS.100
There are mainly three stages of NDA/NA Exam.
STAGE01-Written Examination  marks-900

• Written Exam is of total 900 marks.There are two papers.
• Paper 1  MATHEMATICS:[ 120 questions 300 marks Time 2hrs 30 min]
• Syllabus- 01 Sets,Relations and Functions

                    09 Statistics.

• Paper 2 GENERAL ABILITY TEST(GAT) [150 questions 600 marks Time 2hrs 30 min]
• It has two parts

Part-A  English [50 questions 200 marks]                    01 Antonyms

            05 Comprehension
            06 Jumbled sentences and Paragraphs
Part-B [100 questions 400 marks]
           01 Physics

 There is 1/3rd  -ve marking also in each paper.

STAGE02- SSB   [Duration 4-5 days  900 marks]
Day 1:-OIR and PP&DT
Day 4-5:- Psychology test,Interview,GTO,Conference.

STAGE03- Medicals and CPSS for [Air force candidates]
